Nov. 19, 2009 – The sixth-seeded Truman volleyball team suffered a 3-0 (-21, -7, -18) loss to third-seeded West Texas A&M in the first round of the 2009 NCAA Div. II tournament. Freshman Megan Sharpe led the Bulldogs with nine kills, and junior libero Casey Bruno paced all players with a match-high 18 digs.
Nov. 18, 2009 – Sophomore forward Vesko Filchev recorded his first career double-double as the Bulldog hung with Division I Western Illinois on Wednesday night in Macomb. Truman could not get no closer than eight points down the stretch as the Leathernecks won 71-59.

Nov. 18, 2009 – Freshman Megan Sharpe was named MIAA Freshman of the Year and was one of five Truman volleyball players named to all-conference teams, as released Wednesday by the MIAA office. Sharpe and senior Lauren Graybeal were second-team selections, while junior Casey Bruno was a third-team pick. Senior Erin Hattey and junior Ashley Petak received honorable mention status.

Nov. 18, 2009 - After picking up a four point win in the 2009-2010 season opener, the Truman women’s basketball team heads to Minnesota this weekend for games on back-to-back days on the Southwest Minnesota State University campus. The Bulldogs (1-0) take on the host Mustangs (0-0) on Friday night before facing Minnesota State-Moorhead (1-0) on Saturday afternoon.

Nov. 18, 2009 – Seniors Theresa Bauler and Drew Pauk, along with sophomore Jonathan Brown, were named all-region first-team and headlined seven Truman soccer selections to the Daktronics South Central teams, as announced late Tuesday. The Truman women tied St. Edward’s with the most selections on the top two teams (four), while the Truman men joined three Texas programs as the only schools with multiple first-team picks.
