Truman Announces Three More Football Players Who Have Signed National Letters of Intent

The Truman football program announced today that three more players have signed national letters of intent since the first day of the signing period. The newest Bulldogs are Kyle Glenn, Rick Schroeder and Kyle Shimmens.

Glenn is a linebacker from Mattoon High School in Mattoon, Ill. He was an honorable mention all-state player and a two-time all-conference and all-area performer.

Schroeder is a defensive end from Chicago. He attended high school at the Benet Academy.

Shimmens played his high school football at Helias in Jefferson City, Mo. The Bulldogs are still deciding what position he will play in college.

New head coach Shannon Currier and his staff have now signed 18 players for the upcoming season. The Bulldogs will begin their spring practice on March 19. Spring practice will conclude with the annual spring game which will be held this year on April 17 at 1 p.m. in Stokes Stadium.
