Truman Signs Class of 23 Football Recruits

Head football coach John Ware announced today that 23 high school seniors will join the Truman State University team beginning in the fall. The Bulldogs added two transfers at semester to bring the total number of newcomers in the fall to 25. Four of the 10 Missouri Recruits are from the Northeast part of the state, while six are from Illinois and seven are from Iowa. The two transfers are from Washington state and Arizona.

The Truman Bulldogs were 4-7 overall last year and 4-5 in the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association, finishing in fifth-place. Coach Ware completed his fifth season as head coach of the Bulldogs and is 29-25 during that time and is 29-16 in the MIAA.
