Truman Men's Cross Country Runs Against Some of the Nation's Best

The Truman men's cross country finished 13th out of 21 teams in the Blue Division at the Notre Dame Invitational which included mostly Division I schools including first-ranked Stanford.

Alan Heincker led the way by finishing 26th overall with a time of 25:18. Matt Helbig was 45th, finishing the race in 25:34. Andy Person was the next Truman finisher, coming in 78th with a time of 26:05. Rounding out the top five for the Bulldogs was Mike Nelson in 117th (26:38) and Pat Boyle in 123rd (26:42). The rest of the finishers were: Brad Peter finished in 125th (26:46), Ryan French in 145th (27:08), Dan Boyle in 158th (27:20) and Dan Wilhite in 169th (28:13).
