Men's Cross Country Team Takes Fourth At Notre Dame
The Truman State University men's cross country squad finished fourth out of 17 teams in the Men's Gold Division at the Notre Dame Cross Country Invitational on Friday in South Bend, Ind.
Truman finished with a 122 score to finish 31 points behind third-place Georgetown University "B." Minnesota State-Mankato, with a total of 41, won the Gold Division, while Edinboro (Pa.) was second with a score of 89.
Sophomore Andy Doering (Florissant, Mo./McCluer North) led the Bulldogs as he finished 13th in the division with a time of 25.37. He was followed by fellow sophomore Ben Rosario (St. Louis/University High) in 18th with a time of 25:50. Nick Blackburn (St. Charles, Mo./Francis Howell) brought home 22nd in 25:55.
The Bulldogs' will return to action on Saturday (Oct. 9) at the Iowa State Memorial Classic in Ames, Iowa.
