Truman Men's Golf Ties For Seventh at Missouri Western Invitational

The Truman men's golf team slipped to a tie for seventh place on the second and final day of the Missouri Western Invitational on Tuesday. The Bulldogs shot a 301-307=617 and tied with the host school. Nebraska-Kearney won the event with a two-round score of 600.

Lou Dersch tied for fourth overall at the event with a two-round score of 148. He was tied for the lead after shooting a career-best round of 71 on Monday and shot a 77 on the second day of action. Austin George shot two rounds of 76 and tied for 20th overall. Jason Bertram shot a team-low of 75 on the second day and finished with a 158. Jake Mann was fourth on the team with a 82-79=161 while T.J. Erhart shot two rounds of 81.

Truman continues its MIAA schedule on Apr. 7-8 at the Missouri Southern Invitational. The Bulldogs are currently sixth in the conference standings.
