Truman Men's Golf In Sixth-Place After Day One of Pittsburg State Invitational

The Bulldogs men's golf team opened it year today at the Pittsburg State Invitational and is in sixth-place after the first day of action.

Jason Bertram led the team on Monday with a even par round of 72, leaving him just three shots off the lead in eighth-place. Lou Dersch and Jake Mann each shot a 76 for the Bulldogs and Austin George rounded out the team scoring with a 77. Andy Crossett was the final Truman player as he shot an 80 on the day.

The event, held at Peoria Ridge Golf Club in Miami, Okla., will conclude on Tuesday.
