Men's Soccer Falls 1-0 At Wisconsin-Parkside

The Bulldogs road woes continued on Sunday as they dropped a 1-0 decision at Wisconsin-Parkside. Truman had only five shots during the game and now have a scoring drought that has lasted three games and 342:31 minutes. The Bulldogs last goal was against Southern Indiana on September 4th.

After a scoreless first half, the Ranger's Ben Tommerup hit one off the far post past Bulldog sophomore goalkeeper Nate Gibson for the game winner at the 69:43 mark.

The last time Truman dropped consecutive games it was Sept. 28 & 30 in 2001. The last time the Bulldogs have been held scoreless in three consecutive games was Oct. 25-31 in 1992.

The Bulldogs are now 2-2-1 on the season, while Wisconsin-Parkside improves to 5-1. Truman will host a pair of games in Kirksville next weekend. On Saturday, the Bulldogs will host Northwood (Mich.) at 11:00 a.m. followed by playing Benedictine (Kan.) on Sunday at 1:00 p.m.
