Horning Rounds Out Training Staff
Eric P. Horning was recently named the third assistant to the Truman athletic training staff. Horning comes to Truman from Michigan State University where he has been the last two years. He completed his master's of science degree in kinesiology with a concentration in athletic training at MSU this past May.
While at Michigan State, Horning was an assistant athletic trainer in charge of wrestling, as well as a graduate assistant for the football team.
The Cincinnati, Ohio, native earned his undergraduate degree in exercise science with a concentration in athletic training from the University of Toledo in 2000. While at Toledo, he worked with cheerleading, baseball, football, men's basketball and women's soccer as a student athletic trainer.
Horning received his National Athletic Trainers' Association Board of Certification athletic training certification in June 2000.
