The men ended with 942 points, defeating Colorado School of Mines (670.5) and Colorado College (288.5). The Bulldog women collected 16 first-place finishes in the 18 non-diving events. The men's team finished first in 14 of the 18 non-diving events
Many Truman individuals posted national qualifying times over the weekend. The women qualified in 18 events. Thirteen individuals were national qualifiers and five relay teams also qualified. Junior Bryna Busch (Overland Park, Kan./SM East) and freshmen Elizabeth Hug (Maryville, Ill./Collinsville) and Kelli Dudley (Topeka, Kan./West) qualified in five individual events apiece, although one of Dudley's was the 400 individual medley, an event in which she had already qualified but charted a better time over the weekend. Sophomore Bridget Riley (Olathe, Kan./Olathe), freshman Jenny Dobratz (Brooklyn, Minn./Park Center) and junior Christie Williamsen (Downer's Grove, Ill./Downer's Grove North) qualified in four individual events each.
The men's team qualified in six individual events and had two relay teams also qualify for the national championships. Senior Mike Hoskovec (Omaha, Neb./Millard South) qualified in four individual events.
The Bulldogs will return to competition on Jan. 8 at the Tampa (Fla.) Relays.
