Truman Women Finish Third In Nation;
Men's Team Places Ninth

1998-99 NCAA Division II Swimming & Diving Championships Results

 

The Truman State University men's and women's swimming teams completed four days of competition at the NCAA Division II Championships in Buffalo, New York. Sophomore Bryna Busch (Overland Park, Kan./S.M. East) capped the national championships by bringing home the title in the women's 100 freestyle in a time of 51.57 seconds.

The Truman men finished ninth at the championships, while the women's team placed third. In 1997-98 the women placed fourth and the men 11th. The 1998-99 finishes are Truman's highest ever.
