Men's and Women's Tennis Teams Sweep Southwest Baptist in Conference Dual

The Truman women's tennis team improved to 5-5 in dual meets this season and collected its first conference victory of the season in a 9-0 win over Southwest Baptist on Friday afternoon.

Likewise, the Bulldog men raised their record to 4-4 overall and 1-0 in the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association with a 5-4 victory over the Bearcats. It marked the first Truman men's win over SBU since the Bearcats joined the league in 1986.

Up next, the Truman women will meet Drury at 9 a.m. tomorrow in Bolivar. Meanwhile, the Bulldog men will face West Texas A&M, also in Bolivar at 9 a.m. tomorrow.
