Kendall and Paramonova to Participate in NCAA YES Program

Truman head tennis coach Pete Kendall, and women's tennis team player, Oleysa Paramonova, have been selected to participate in the NCAA's Youth Education Through Sports program, which is held in conjunction with the NCAA Division II Tennis Championships on May 8.

Kendall was one of 12 Division II coaches chosen to teach and work with the local youth of Pensacola, Fla., to enhance their tennis skills.

The NCAA sponsors the YES program and pays for all expenses to the site of the national meet.

Kendall hopes to accompany his men's team to Pensacola as well, providing they get past No. 1 Drury University in the first-round of the NCAA Division II regional tournament in Springfield, Mo., tomorrow.
