Truman Women Dominate At Invitational This Weekend

The Truman State women's tennis team have certainly made their mark after hosting this weekend's Truman Singles Invitational. The women were on a mission in becoming the dominating team in this tournament having six players place in all four flights. The three other teams that participated were Northwest Missouri State University, Missouri Western State College, and Rockhurst College.

After this weekend, the Bulldogs will be playing Graceland College in Lamoni, Iowa on Wednesday, Sept. 22.

Below are the results of the invitational.

Flight One

1st place: Olesya Paramonova (Almaty, Kazakhastan/Lenin's School #25), Truman State University

2nd place: Allison Schuller (West Peoria, Ill./Manual), Truman State University

3rd place: Ellen Stubbs, Northwest Missouri State University

Flight Two

1st place: Julie Ervin, Northwest Missouri State University

2nd place: Meghan Konrad (Elmhurst, Ill/York), Truman State University

3rd place: Reggan Dodd, Northwest Missouri State University

Flight Three

1st place: Adri Atwell (Columbus, Ind./North Columbus), Truman State University

2nd place: Jessica McKinney (Belleville, Ill./Belleville West), Truman State University

3rd place: Kellie Rush, Rockhurst College

Flight Four

1st place: Lindsey Daniels (Marion, Iowa/Richwoods-Peoria, Ill.), Truman State University

2nd place: Amanda Black (Oakville, Mo./Oakville), Truman State University

3rd place: Shannon Hellner (Mount Clemens, Mich./Mount Clemens), Truman State University
