Women's Tennis Team Shuts Out Westminster
In a dual meet yesterday at Westminster College in Fulton, the Bulldogs handed their host a 9-0 defeat.
In fact, the Truman women allowed just one match point in three doubles matches, and just 11 games over the six singles matches.
Freshman Hannah Wittmer was perfect on the day, winning both No. 6 singles matches by 6-0 scores and combining with sophomore Erin Sadzewicz for an 8-0 doubles victory. Wittmer is also the only undefeated Bulldog with a 9-0 singles record and a 3-0 doubles mark.
The Bulldogs are now 3-0 in duals this fall and travel to the ITA regional meet on Oct. 3-5 in Topeka, Kan. They complete the fall portion of the schedule by hosting a dual with Central College of Pella, Iowa at 3:30 p.m. on Oct. 7.
