Pat Boyle Named MIAA Runner of the Week
Bulldog Pat Boyle was named the MIAA male track athlete of the week this afternoon for his performances so far in the outdoor season.
Last Saturday at the Truman Open, Boyle won the 3,000-meter steeplechase with a time of 9:15.35. That mark earned him a provisional qualifying time for the NCAA Division II outdoor championship.
Also this year at the Augustana Early Spring Opener, Boyle finished second in the 1500-meter run (4:05.87) and third in the 800-meters (2:03.31).
