Bulldog Track Teams Compete At the Mule Relays Last Weekend

Truman's indoor track and field teams were in action last weekend at the Mule Relays in Warrensburg, Mo., with the women's action taking place on Friday and the men's competition being held on Saturday. Several MIAA schools were at the meet, along with many other regional colleges and junior colleges.

The women's team brought home one first-place title and four runner-up finishes from the meet. The Bulldog men had two top-five finishes as they continue to experiment with different runners at different events.

Junior Christina Winkler (High Ridge, Mo./Northwest) won the lone championship as she captured her second 60m hurdles title of the season. Winkler had the second-best time in the preliminary run but clocked a time of 8.83 in the finals to defeat MIAA rival Denise Sandbothe of Central Missouri by 0.10 seconds.
