Three Bulldogs Named To The All-MIAA Volleyball Team

The 2002 all-MIAA volleyball team was released today and three Bulldogs were named to this year's team. Monica Marlowe and Shelby Ortwerth were first-team choices while Kelly Vogel was named honorable mention.

Marlowe is the first Truman volleyball player to be named to the first-team all four years of her career. She is averaging a team-high11.39 assists per game and has also recorded 3.27 digs a game.

Shelby Ortwerth received her first all-MIAA award with her first-team selection. She leads the team this year with 3.86 kills and 3.74 digs a game.

Kelly Vogel is also receiving her first honor after being named all-MIAA honorable mention. The sophomore outside hitter is averaging 3.82 kills and 2.23 digs a game.
