Bulldogs Continue Their Win Streak With A 3-0 Victory Over Southwest Baptist

The Truman volleyball team (15-0, 6-0 MIAA) recorded 22 more kills and 21 more digs than Southwest Baptist on its way to a 30-13, 30-18, 30-19 road victory over the Lady Bearcats (1-16, 0-6 MIAA).

Truman recorded 47 kills and 55 digs in the three games and hit .246 for the match. The home team hit just .114 while collecting 25 kills and 34 digs.

Micaela Walter led the Bulldogs with 10 kills in just two games. Jessica Sears added seven kills and hit .667 while also appearing in just two games. Rebecca Knefelkamp had a team-high 12 assists and eight digs in the contest. Lauren Dickbernd and Kelsey Wackerman added seven digs apiece and nine different Bulldogs recorded at least one block assist in the match.

Jenny Madrid led the Lady Bearcats with 10 kills. Chelsea Kenney recorded all 15 of Southwest Baptist's assists and Jessie Stewart paced the squad with nine digs.

Volleyball Notes: Truman has now won 24 straight regular season matches, 14 straight MIAA contests and 18 matches in a row on an opponents' home court ... the Bulldogs are now 36-6 all-time against Southwest Baptist ... Truman has won 30 straight matches against Southwest Baptist, with 27 of those being 3-0 sweeps ... the Bulldogs play at Missouri Southern on Friday evening and Pittsburg State on Saturday.
