Bulldogs Women Finish Fourth at Cross Country MIAA Championships

The Truman women's cross country team had 86 points at the MIAA Championships and finished fourth overall behind champion Pittsburg State, Central Missouri and Missouri Southern.

Three Bulldogs just missed finishing in the top 10 and earning MIAA all-conference honors. Pam Bird was 11th overall with a time of 22:48 on the 6k course in Joplin, Mo. Leah Zidon was 12th with a time of 22:52 and Jennifer Tesmer was 13th overall with a mark of 22:54. Dani Rawlings was 18th overall with a time of 23:09 and Sarah Armstrong rounded out the Bulldogs scoring, coming in 32nd with a time of 23:42.

The team will be in action again on Nov. 9 at the South Central Regional Championships in Warrensburg, Mo.
