Leah Zidon and The Bulldogs Win Women's Miner Cross Country Invitational

Leah Zidon won the individual title and Truman won the team title on a successful Saturday for the Bulldogs women's cross country team.

Truman scored 53 points at the Miner Invitational at the University of Missouri-Rolla. That score was lowest among the 11 teams at the meet which included three other MIAA schools.

Leah Zidon ran the race in 19:01, finishing three seconds faster than the runner-up. Dani Rawlings finished in 11th overall with a time of 19:47. Kayse Hahn and Sarah Armstrong were 13th and 14th, overall. Hahn had a time of 19:59 while Armstrong finished the race in 20:02. The final scorer for the Bulldogs was Abbie Smith who was 18th with a time of 20:16.
