Lauren White Earns Second Straight Player Of The Week Honor

For the second straight week, Truman women's cross country runner Lauren White has been named the MIAA women's cross country runner of the week.

White, a 5-foot-7 sophomore from Lee's Summit, Mo., was the top MIAA runner at the UMR Miner Invitational Saturday (Sept. 25).

She completed the 5-kilometer course in a time of 18 minutes, 44.4 seconds, as she helped the Bulldogs win the team title with 33 points, beating two Division I schools -- Drake (Iowa) and Missouri-Kansas City.

White is a graduate of Lee's Summit High School.
