Truman Women's Golf Finishes Third at Knox College Invitational
The Bulldogs women's golf team finished third on Friday at the one-day Knox College Invitational. Truman shot a 356, finishing just three shots behind Illinois Wesleyan and 12 shots behind the winner, Wisconsin-Oshkosh.
Lauren Allen led the way for the Bulldogs, shooting a 84, including a 40 on the back nine. Jill Schulte added a 87, including tying for the field's low front nine score with a 41. Ashley Elliott carded a 90, Alyssa Pulphus had a 95 and Melissa Pfeiffer had a 99 on the day.
Truman will be in action on Saturday at the Monmouth College Invitiational.
