Women's Golf Finishes Third At Lindenwood Tournament

The Truman women's golf team finished third out of five teams this past weekend at the Lindenwood Tournament in St. Charles, Mo., coming in behind Lindenwood and Brescia, two of the top women's golf teams at the NAIA level.

The Bulldogs shot a 355 on the first day and improved that by one stroke in second-round action for a final score of 709.

Erin Fogarty led the way for Truman with a 86-83=169. Jill Schulte shot two rounds of 87 for a final score of 174. Lauren Allen was third on the team with a 98-92=181. Rounding out the team's scoring was Dyane Tower with a 97-92=189 and Ashley Elliott with a 93-108=201.

The women's golf team will end their fall season on Oct. 21-22 at the Kenneth Smith Women's Golf Classic, hosted by Missouri-Kansas City.
