Women's Golf Takes First-Place At Monmouth Invitational
The Truman women's golf team wrapped up a successful weekend in Illinois by taking first-place in the one-day Monmouth Invitational on Saturday. The Bulldogs shot a team score of 339, finishing seven shots ahead of Hope College.
Lauren Allen earned medalist honors after shooting a 79 on the par-73, Gibson Woods Golf Course. Alyssa Pulphus and Ashley Elliott shot a 84 and 86, respectively. Jill Schulte rounded out the scoring with a 90 and Melissa Pfeiffer shot a round of 103.
Truman will be in action again on Sept. 21-22 at the Illinois Wesleyan Tournament in Bloomington, Ill.
