Women's Golf Places 8th At The Mustang Invitational
Led by newcomer Marta Samojluk (Naperville, Ill./Naperville Central), the women's golf team finished 8th at the Mustang Invitational this weekend in Marshall, Minn.
Samojluk finished tied for 19th with a score of 169. Amanda Senn (Arlington Heights, Ill./Prospect) tied for 41st place with a 179. Laura Westensee (Rock Island, Ill./Rock Island) was able to knock ten strokes off her first round score and finished tied with fellow Bulldog Sara Lloyd (Overland Park, Kan./Shawnee Mission South) in 44th place with a score of 180. Lauren Allen (Kirksville, Mo./Kirksville) was only one stroke behind and finished tied for 46th with a 181.
Dyane Tower (St. Louis, Mo./Pattonsville) competed as an individual and shot a 186, good enough to tie for 57th place.
The Bulldogs next see action when travel back to Minnesota to compete in the Winona State Tournament on Oct. 2-3.
