Sara Murray Is Named MIAA Women's Soccer Player of the Week
Afer a record-breaking week on the soccer field, junior Sara Murray was named the MIAA Women's Soccer Player of the Week.

Murray, a 5-foot-9 junior from Eden Prairie, Minn., became the MIAA's career leader in both goals and points with her efforts in three conference wins last week.
She raised her career point total to 90 with the first of her three goals against Missouri Southern last Monday (Oct. 6), passing CMSU's Teleshia Joseph, who had 89 entering that day's action.
Murray logged her second career hat trick against the Lions, and added an assist in the 5-1 road win.
She had a goal and an assist in a 3-0 win over UMR Friday (Oct. 10). The goal raised her career total to 38, passing CMSU's April Reyes (2000-02) for the top spot on the list.
Murray scored the first of Truman's two goals in a 2-0 victory at SBU Saturday (Oct. 11). It was just the second goal the Lady Bearcats had allowed in MIAA play this season.
Murray, her 39 goals ranking her second on the school's career list, is a graduate of Eden Prairie High School.
She is the first Bulldog this year to receive the women's soccer player of the week award. Lauren Davis has won the goalkeeper of the week award three times.
