Women's Soccer Sweeps MIAA Player Of The Week Honors
For the third time this season, the Truman women's soccer team has swept both MIAA player of the week awards. Ellen Wright earned her first player of the week honor, while Lauren Davis was named goalkeeper of the week for the third time this season.

Wright, a 5-foot-2 senior from Kirkwood, Mo., scored all three of No. 3 Truman's goals in two wins as the Bulldogs unbeaten streak extended to 10 games (9-0-1) last week.
She scored in the 7th and 72nd minutes in a 2-0 victory over Winona (Minn.) State Saturday (Oct. 2). She took only three shots (all on goal) in the match.
Wright scored in the 82nd minute to snap a scoreless tie against Emporia State on Sunday (Oct. 3), running her total of game-winning goals to four on the season.
Wright is a graduate of Kirkwood High School.
MIAA Women's Soccer Goalkeeper of the Week: Lauren Davis
Davis, a 5-foot-8 sophomore from Springfield, Mo., raised her season shutout total to seven with a pair of white-washes for No. 3 Truman last week.
She made three saves on five shots in blanking Winona (Minn.) State on Saturday (Oct. 3).
Davis again saw five shots against Emporia State the next day, making four saves and keeping the Bulldogs in the game until a late goal gave Truman a 1-0 win.
Davis is a graduate of Kickapoo High School.
