Grapplers Welcome New Recruit for 2002-03 Season
Truman wrestling coach Dave Schutter has announced the signing of a student-athlete for the 2002-03 season.
Michael Wade (Troy, Ill./Triad) has signed a national letter of intent to compete for Truman in the upcoming campaign .
Wade will wrestle at 174 pounds at Truman and is a two-time state qualifier in the 2-A class. He went 19-20 his first season, 22-9 as a sophomore, 32-5 as a junior and 38-6 his final year of high school for a career record of 111-40.
The Truman Bulldogs qualified two individuals for the NCAA Division II national championships this past season and finished the year with a 3-8 dual record.
