Truman Wrestlers Beat MacMurray in Dual on Saturday
The Truman State University wrestlers completed dual competition for the season on Saturday with a 33-20 victory at MacMurray (Ill.). The Bulldogs final dual record for the year is 2-11. However, they will look to qualify several individuals for the national meet at the Midwest Regional Championships at Moorhead State University this coming Saturday, Feb. 24.
Kelley Latting registered his 30th win of the season in the dual and is a strong contender for the national meet with a 30-14 record for the year.
In just his second meet this year, Wyatt Pickering won by fall over Heath Ryder of MacMurray at 184 pounds, while 165-pounder Corey Crandall and 174-pounder Bo Rinehart hit the 500 mark for the year with their wins.
