Latting Goes Undefeated for Truman Wrestlers at Northern State Triangular
At the Northern State University Triangular in Aberdeen, S.D. on Saturday, freshman 157-pounder Kelly Latting (St. Anne, Ill./Bishop McNamara) continued to lead the Truman wrestlers. Latting improved is overall record for the year to a team-best 26-12 by defeating Dirk McWhorter of Dickinson State University and Cody Clark of Northern State in a pair of dual meets.
Latting was the only winner for Truman as the host ran away with a 42-10 win over the Bulldogs. The 'Dogs also fell to DSU 40-6.
Aside from Latting, sophomore Bo Rinehart (Maysville, Mo.) was the only other winner for Truman in the dual with Dickinson, beating Darrel Woolsoy, 10-3 in the 174-pound match. Rinehart has posted the third-most wins this year at 14-12.
