Central College Wins Wrestling dual at Truman

The Central College (Pella, Iowa) Dutch handed the Truman wrestlers a 35-6 defeat in Kirksville on Monday night.

The Bulldogs won the 157- and 174-pound matches. Freshman 157-pounder Kelly Latting (St. Anne, Ill./Bishop McNamara) beat Dmitry Tarasov of Central 4-2, while sophomore Bo Rinehart (Maysville, Mo.) took the 174 pound bout from Tom Atkinson of Central, 4-2.

Latting now leads Truman with a 24-12 record for the year, while Rinehart runs his overall record to 14-12 on the season.

Truman is now 2-6 in dual competition and Central College is 10-4 for the year.
