Truman Wrestlers Entertain Central College on Thursday in Only Home Meet of Season

The Truman wrestling team will be looking to pick up its second dual victory of the season when it entertains Central College of Pella, Iowa, on Thursday evening at 7 p.m. in Pershing Arena.

The Bulldogs attended the Dubuque College Open this past Saturday, and had a dual at Minnesota State University, Mankato as well on Sunday.

Truman lost the dual at MSUM 34-8, but placed five wrestlers at the Dubuque Open.

Corey Crandall won the 157-pound weight class at the DC Open, while Gregg Nurrenbern was second at 174 pounds. Third-place finishes were garnered by Merrick Meyers at 141 pounds and Nolyn Wagner at 149 pounds. Corey Crandall was fourth at 125 pounds.
