Kovach was tied for the overall lead after the first round but was caught from behind by Jeremy Martin of
Michael Spaulding tied for eighth with rounds of 73 and 74 while Scott Danielsen tied for 10th after shooting a 76-72.
The Bulldogs were in third place after the first round, trailing Missouri Western by eight and host Drury by five but ended up second after a 296 and just two shots behind the Griffons for the team title.
Truman will next compete in their final fall event, an MIAA scoring tournament, at Silo Ridge Golf Course in Bolivar,
