April 23, 2009 – The Bulldog Football team will wrap up their spring workouts with the annual Purple & White Game on Saturday at Stokes Stadium. Prior to the game, the team will conduct a Bulldog Buddies session for area youth beginning at 12:30 p.m. The spring game will kickoff at 3:00 p.m.
The game will consist of 100 plays with both the offense and defense being able to score points for the final score. The offense (white squad) can score points for a first down (1 point), field goal (3 points) and touchdown (6 points + PAT) while the defense (purple squad) can accumulate points for drive stops (1 point), safeties (2 points) and forcing turnovers (6 points).
Truman will open up their 2009 season at Stokes Stadium on Saturday night, August 29th against Minnesota State University-Mankato.
