Oct. 4, 2009 - The 10th-ranked Truman men’s soccer team scored six unanswered goals after falling behind 1-0 to pick up its third straight win in a 6-1 rout of Maryville (Mo.) University on Sunday afternoon in St. Louis.
Six different ’Dogs – Nick Schlictman, Andy Chapman, Bobby Larkin, Kyle Menges, Matt Kimball and Jonathan Brown – all scored for Truman (9-1-1), who picked up their tenth straight result of either a win or draw. The Bulldogs blistered the Saint (0-10-1) net all afternoon, firing 30 shots and taking seven corner kicks.
Tyler Knierim and Kyle Talbot split time in net, with Knierim making three saves.
The Bulldogs will look for win No. 10 on the season this Thursday afternoon at 4 pm against Upper Iowa University.
