Oct. 5, 2009 – The Truman women’s golf team slipped to third place at the University of Nebraska-Omaha Fall Classic on Monday. Jennifer Lawson and Krystal Limsiaco led the team by each finishing in the top 10.
Truman was just eight shots out of first place following the first round but shot a 335 in the second round to fall behind Upper Iowa and into third place. The team finished 11 shots clear of conference opponent Missouri Western , 53 from Fort Hays State and 83 ahead of Northwest Missouri. Nebraska-Omaha won their own event with rounds of 304 and 315.
Lawson tied for fourth with rounds of 76 and 80 while Limsiaco tied for eighth with scores of 75-84.
The Bulldogs will wrap up the fall portion of their schedule at the Avila Fall Invite in Kansas City on Oct. 15-16.
