Oct. 7, 2009 – The Truman Student Athlete Advisory Committee will be hosting their canned food drive during four home events upcoming in October. Fans may bring a non-perishable food item to the games and be entered to win team autographed items.
The drive will begin with this Saturday’s home women’s soccer match with Southwest Baptist at 11:30 a.m.
The other events during the drive will be Oct. 21, Men’s Soccer vs. Texas Permian Basin (1:00 p.m.), Oct. 23, Volleyball vs. Washburn (7:00 p.m.) and Oct. 24, Football vs. Emporia State (1:00 p.m.).
One entry into the drawing per food item will be allowed.
