Sept. 24, 2005 – For 110 minutes, the women’s soccer team dominated Missouri Southern in a key conference match-up, however none of the 11 shots on goal by the Bulldogs found the back of the net and both teams settled for a 0-0 tie on Saturday.
Truman’s best chances came toward the end of each half. Lauren Cepicky hit the crossbar with just :20 seconds remaining in the first half. In the second, Katie Buning had a near breakaway but was stopped by Lion keeper Kaney Tyler.
The Bulldogs will next be on the pitch on Sunday facing first-year program Missouri Western in another conference match.
