HIGH SCHOOL - Excelled both on and off the softball field ... played catcher for Fatima High School and started her last three seasons ... named all-conference and all-district junior and senior year, and all-region senior year in softball ... also helped her team win districts in 2004 and 2006 ... competed in basketball and track and field as well, winning basketball districts in 2007 and conference track in 2005 and 2006 ... set her high school discus record in 2006 and again in 2007, with the best mark at 109’1 ... honored with an all-conference selection in basketball as a senior and all-district awards in track as a sophomore, junior and senior.
