June 9, 2009 – Truman head baseball coach Dan Davis has announced that eight student-athletes were inked during the late signing period to join the Bulldog program in the Spring of 2010. The eight – which hail from three different states – bring the total number of 2010 signees to ten.

May 7, 2009 – Junior OF Keaton Jones and freshman C/DH Devon Myers were picked to the MIAA’s honorable mention baseball squad, as released Thursday by the conference office.

May 3, 2009 – Freshman C/DH Devon Myers recorded five hits over two games Sunday afternoon, but the Truman baseball team capped off its 2009 season with a pair of losses to Missouri Western at the Bulldog Baseball Park.

May 2, 2009 – Sophomore 1B/DH Bryce Bond knocked in four of Truman’s five runs on the day with a pair of RBI doubles, but the Missouri Western Griffons got two solid starting pitching performances in shutting down Truman baseball 5-3 and 11-2 on Saturday at the Bulldog Baseball Park.

May 1, 2009 - The 2009 season draws to a close this weekend for the Truman baseball team when Missouri Western visits Kirksville for a four-game set. The Bulldogs will match up with the visiting Griffons in a pair of 7/9 doubleheaders, starting Saturday at 1 pm and Sunday at noon.
