Filchev Nets Double-Double In Bulldog Loss
Nov. 18, 2009 – Sophomore forward Vesko Filchev recorded his first career double-double as the Bulldog hung with Division I Western Illinois on Wednesday night in Macomb. Truman could not get no closer than eight points down the stretch as the Leathernecks won 71-59.

Nov. 18, 2009 –For the first time since 2005, the Truman men’s basketball team will play a regular season Division I opponent as the ‘Dogs make the short trip over to Macomb, Ill. and face the Western Illinois University Leathernecks.

Nov. 16, 2009 – The Truman men’s basketball team rolled in their season opener on Monday night in Pershing Arena as they defeated Culver-Stockton (Mo.) 86-68. Truman will face Division I, Western Illinois on Wednesday night in Macomb.

Nov. 15, 2009 –The 90th season of Truman men’s basketball will tip off on Monday night as the Bulldogs host regional foe, Culver-Stockton College (Mo.), for a 7:30 p.m. start in Pershing Arena.
Filchev's 14 Paces Bulldogs In Final Tune Up
Nov. 14, 2009 – Vesko Filchev led the Truman Men’s Basketball team with 14 points and eight rebounds in the final tune up before the regular season tips off on Monday night at home against Culver-Stockton. The Bulldogs lost 80-33 to Division I, Missouri-Kansas City.
