Men's Basketball
Feb. 6, 2010 – The Truman Men’s Basketball team was defeated by the Southwest Baptist Bearcats by a score of 73-65 on Saturday in Bolivar. The Bulldogs were led by Vesko Filchev’s 17 points and 10 rebounds.
Feb. 6, 2010 –The Truman Bulldogs will face Southwest Baptist University (Mo.) on Saturday afternoon in Bolivar. The Bearcats are fourth in the latest NCAA Division II South Central regional poll and defeated the Bulldogs 70-62 in Kirksville back on Dec. 30th.
Feb. 4, 2010 – Junior guard Alex Henderson has been selected as a first team all-District selection for the ESPN the Magazine/College Sports Information Directors of America all-Academic team. Henderson is second on the team in scoring and is tops in assists this year.
Feb. 3, 2010 – The Washburn Ichabods were able hold off the Truman Men’s Basketball team with late free throws in a 62-53 win on Wednesday night in Pershing Arena. Ethan Freeman, Tom Norton and Vesko Filchev led the Bulldogs with 11 points apiece.
Feb. 2, 2010 –The Bulldog Men’s Basketball team will begin the final month of the regular season by hosting Washburn University on Wednesday night in Pershing Arena. Both teams are coming off of losses on Saturday.
