June 15, 2010 – Truman Men’s Basketball player Vesko Filchev has been selected to the Bulgarian National Basketball team for the upcoming qualifying round of the EuroBasket 2011tournament. Filchev led Truman in scoring this past season with 11.6 points per game average and pulled down 6.9 rebounds per contest.

June 3, 2010 – Truman basketball great Harry “The Horse” Gallatin will be enshrined as part of the inaugural Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association Hall of Fame class next week at the league’s awards banquet in Kansas City.

May 18, 2010 – The sixth annual Bob Carlson Bulldog Basketball golf outing will be held on Friday, July 23rd at the Kirksville Country Club. In addition to the outing, the team will dedicate the new “Willard Sims Locker Room” as part of the weekend festivities.

May 17, 2010 – Josh May, an all-conference basketball player from Lawrence Free State High School in Lawrence, Kan., has signed a National Letter of Intent to play for the Truman State University Men’s Basketball team.
