May 14, 2009 – Two three-point sharpshooters have signed to play with the Truman Men’s Basketball team next season. Tom Norton, from Bloomington (Ill.) Central Catholic, and Matt Patterson, from South Shelby (Mo.), hit a combined 183 three-pointers season as high school seniors.

Feb. 28, 2009 – The University of Central Missouri was able to hold off a pesky Bulldog squad on Senior Day in Pershing Arena, the Mules defeated Truman 77-71. Truman trailed by just one with 4:49 left. Patrick Fandja ended his career with a double-double for Truman scoring 15 points and pulling down 10 rebounds.

Feb. 27, 2009 – The Truman men’s basketball team will conclude their 2008-09 season by hosting the University of Central Missouri on Saturday afternoon in Pershing Arena. Prior to tip off 3:00 p.m., seniors Banks Estridge, Patrick Fandja and Todd Kulage will be honored.

Feb. 21, 2009 – Missouri Western scored 18 of the final 22 points to pull away from the Truman men’s basketball team on Saturday night in St. Joseph. The Griffons, behind 15 points from Marcus Rhodes defeated the Bulldogs 68-47 in the season road finale.

Feb.20, 2009 – The Truman men’s basketball team will take a three-game winning streak against the Missouri Western State University Griffons into the MWSU Fieldhouse for their final conference road game on Saturday night. The Bulldogs are coming off a 62-51 loss at Northwest Missouri on Wednesday while the Griffons were idle.
