Nov. 18, 2009 – Seniors Theresa Bauler and Drew Pauk, along with sophomore Jonathan Brown, were named all-region first-team and headlined seven Truman soccer selections to the Daktronics South Central teams, as announced late Tuesday. The Truman women tied St. Edward’s with the most selections on the top two teams (four), while the Truman men joined three Texas programs as the only schools with multiple first-team picks.
Nov. 3, 2009 – After taking a 1-0 lead into the break, the 19th-ranked Truman men’s soccer team blitzed the Hannibal-LaGrange Trojans with three goals in the first 12 minutes of the second half en route to a 4-1 win on Tuesday afternoon.
Nov. 1, 2009 – The 16th-ranked Truman men’s soccer team controlled play for the majority of the afternoon Sunday, but it was a goal in the 25th minute by visiting Columbia (Mo.) College that stood up in a 1-0 decision at the Truman Soccer Pitch. The Bulldogs dropped to 11-3-1 overall with the loss.
Oct. 29, 2009 – The Truman men’s soccer match against Columbia (Mo.) College – scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 31 – has been postponed to Sunday, Nov. 1 at 2:00 pm due to major rainfall throughout the day Thursday in the Kirksville area.
Oct. 21, 2009 – For the second time this season, the Truman men’s soccer team put up a half-dozen goals against an opponent, as the 17th-ranked Bulldogs rolled to a 6-1 home win against Texas-Permian Basin on Wednesday afternoon.
