May 8, 2008 – Truman freshman Amy Ochs was named first-team all-MIAA and senior Cody Pusateri received the MIAA Sportsmanship Award as both the women’s and men’s MIAA all-conference teams were released this week. The squads combined for 11 total selections.

April 25, 2008 – Bulldog tennis coach Pete Kendall has signed Mark Sturley to a National Letter of Intent to join the Bulldog program in the fall of 2008. Sturley, a senior at Edwardsville High School in Edwardsville, Ill., is currently ranked 4th in 18-and-under singles as part of the St. Louis District of the USTA.
April 30, 2008 – Both Truman tennis squads received bids to the 2008 NCAA Division II tournament on Wednesday afternoon. The teams will each travel to Southwest Baptist University for first and second round play May 8-10, as the women will face North Dakota while the men will take on host SBU in opening-round play.
April 26, 2008 – Truman tennis competed at the MIAA Tournament Saturday, as the women’s squad split its matches against Missouri Southern and Southwest Baptist while the men dropped its opening-round match to Emporia State. Due to the tournament’s shift to an indoor facility, Sunday’s third-place match for the women against Washburn was cancelled.
April 21, 2008 – The Truman tennis teams wrapped up their regular seasons this weekend with a handful of conference matches, as the women’s squad took two of three while the men dropped both of their matches. Both squads will head to the MIAA Tournament this Saturday and Sunday in Topeka, Kan., against opponents still to be determined. A full bracket will be posted on the Bulldog athletics Web site later this week.
April 16, 2008 - The Truman tennis squads rolled past nonconference opponent Quincy (Ill.) University Wednesday afternoon, as the women picked up their 18th win of the season with a 9-0 win, while the men's squad pieced together its third-straight victory by an 8-1 margin. Both Truman teams continue their hectic week with Friday afternoon matches against the Washburn Ichabods/Lady Blues at 3:00 pm in Kirksville.
April 13, 2008 – The Truman tennis teams compiled a perfect record in non-conference action this weekend at Winona, Minn., as the women’s squad went 3-0 while the men won both matches they played. Both squads are back in action Tuesday afternoon against Division I Western Illinois at the Truman Tennis Courts.
Apr. 9, 2008 – The Truman tennis teams lost a close dual match with Rockhurst University on Tuesday in Kirksville. The Bulldog women lost 5-4, while the men lost 6-3. The teams will head to Winona, Minn. this weekend for three regional dual matches.
Apr. 7, 2008 – Both Truman tennis teams split their weekend action on the road. The Bulldogs lost a dual match to conference rival Northwest Missouri on Saturday and then defeated Missouri Valley on Sunday. The teams will host Rockhurst on Wednesday at 4:00 p.m.
March 31, 2008 - The Bulldog women's tennis team improved to 12-0 on the season while the men's squad picked up its second straight sweep as Truman tennis rolled over Fort Hays State and Colorado Christian during the weekend in Hays, Kan. The women's squad knocked off FHSU 7-2 and Colorado Christian 9-0, with the men adding a 9-0 sweep of their own against Colorado Christian.
Mar. 25, 2008 – The Truman men’s tennis team swept Central College on Tuesday afternoon by a 9-0 score. The Bulldogs will play a pair of matches this weekend in Hays, Kan.
Mar. 20, 2008 – The Truman tennis teams picked up big conference wins on Thursday afternoon at the Truman Tennis Courts. The women won 5-4 to break a five-year drought over Emporia State, while the men defeated the Hornets 6-3.
Mar. 18, 2008 – The Truman tennis teams picked up wins over Newman (Kan.) University on Tuesday afternoon. The Bulldogs will next be in action on Thursday at home against conference foe, Emporia State. The matches will get underway at 2:00 p.m.
Mar. 9, 2008 – The men’s tennis team took two out of three regional matches this weekend in Topeka, Kan. The Bulldogs defeated Winona St. (Minn.), Mesa St. (Colo.) but lost to Metro St. (Colo.). The team will be next in action on March 18th against Newman (Kan.) at the Truman Tennis Courts.
Mar. 1, 2008 – The Bulldog tennis teams split a dual match with Southern Illinois Edwardsville on Saturday afternoon. The women’s team won 5-4, while the men dropped a 5-4 decision to the Cougars. The teams will be back in action in Topeka on Thursday and Friday.
Feb. 17, 2008 – Kyle Schlotz won a marathon match to take his flight at the season-opening Principia College tournament for the Bulldog men’s tennis team. Truman also defeated Missouri Baptist in a dual match during the trip.
Nov. 20, 2007 – The Truman Tennis teams are ranked in the North Central region by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) after the fall season. The Bulldog men are 7th,while the Truman women are 5th.
Sept. 30, 2007 – Kyle Schlotz and Peter Bracha advanced to the semi-finals of the North Central regional tournament, hosted by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association over the weekend. The duo knocked out the #3 seed before falling the #2 and eventual champions.
Sept. 18, 2007 – The men’s tennis team defeated Westminster College 7-2 to improve to 2-0 in dual matches this season on Tuesday. The team was coming off having two individuals place at the singles’ tournament this past weekend in Kirksville.
Sept. 11, 2007 – The Truman men’s tennis won their first dual match of the season by downing regional rival Quincy University by an 8-1 tally. The Bulldog men will next be in action this weekend as the team hosts a singles tournament on Friday and Saturday.
