GRINELL, Iowa – Dani Dell’Orco and Adam Kell each placed second in their respective races as the Truman Cross Country teams opened up their 2010 season. The women won the 49th Les Duke Invitatinal while the men finished a close second.

Aug. 26, 2010 – The Truman Women’s Cross Country team is ranked 15th in the national preseason rankings released by the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association. In addition, the Bulldogs are the second ranked team in the South Central region.

August 24, 2010 - The Truman cross country teams will be anxious to get the 2010 fall season underway, but for two entirely different reasons. For the women, this year marks a prime time to take the next step after coming up just short of reaching nationals as a team last year. While for the men, it’s all about recapturing last season’s early success and overcoming a string of bad luck that stalled the squad late in the year.

August 6, 2010 – The Truman women’s cross country team received four first-place votes and tied defending conference champion Missouri Southern atop the 2010 MIAA Preseason Coaches’ Poll, while the men’s squad garnered 13 points to come in eighth, the conference office announced on Friday afternoon.
