June 4, 2008 – Fresh off an appearance at the NCAA Division II Championship tournament, freshman women’s golfer Kaytie Spangler qualified for the finals of the U.S. Women’s Amateur Public Links Championship.

May 16, 2008 – Freshman Kaytie Spangler jumped up eight spots in the final round of the NCAA Division II Women’s Golf Championships in Houston, Texas to finish in a tie for 36th place. Spangler shot 78 in the final round.

May 7, 2008 – Truman women’s golf finished six shots out of second place while men’s golfer Chris Kovach placed 13th overall at their respective NCAA Regionals this Monday through Wednesday. Freshman women’s golfer Kaytie Spangler qualified for NCAA Nationals after finishing in a tie for second at the women’s North Regional – finishing at +8 through the three rounds of competition.

Apr. 29, 2008 – Truman’s golf teams will be represented at next week’s NCAA Division II regional events. The women’s team will compete in the North Regional, while freshman Chris Kovach will be at the Central Regional. Both tournaments will take place on May 7-9.
Apr. 27, 2008 – The women’s golf team placed fourth at the Okoboji Invitational in their final event before selections for the NCAA Regional. Kaytie Spangler finished 10th with a two-day total of 166 to lead the Bulldogs.

Apr. 21, 2008 – The Truman women’s golf team finished strong on the second day to place second at the Minnesota State-Mankato Maverick Invitational this past weekend. Krystal Limsiaco and Julie Williams tied for sixth in the individual scoring.
April 6, 2008 – The Truman women’s golf team came from behind to win the Upper Iowa Spring Classic on Sunday at the Amana Colonies Golf Course. Krystal Limsiaco won the individual title by three shots with a 79 in the final round.

Mar. 29, 2008 – The Truman Bulldog golf team took second at the Bulldog Classic this weekend held at the Kirksville Country Club. Sophomore Krystal Limsiaco finished second overall just two shots back of medalist Kayla Wheeler of Minnesota State.

Jan. 14, 2008 – Jessica Schepker and Liz Lestmann have committed to play for the Truman women’s golf team beginning in the fall of 2008.
Oct. 16, 2007 – The Truman women’s golf team concluded their fall season with a seventh place showing in a primarily Division I field at the Missouri-Kansas City/Kenneth Smith Classic. Krystal Limsiacio tied for 13th overall after shooting a final round 76.
Oct. 1, 2007 – The Truman women’s golf team captured the Prairie Fire Invitational in Lincoln, Neb. on Monday by 56 shots. The Bulldogs were led by Krystal Limsicao, Julie Williams and Kaytie Spangler, who each finished in the top four.
Sept. 23, 2007 – Women’s golf placed fifth at the Mustang Invite, hosted by Southwest Minnesota State, over the weekend. Julie Williams was the highest placing Bulldog at a tie for 12th overall.
Sept. 16, 2007 – The Bulldog women’s golf team took seventh at the Illinois Wesleyan Classic over the weekend. Krystal Limsiaco finished in a tie for ninth place to lead the Bulldogs.
Sept. 11, 2007 – The Truman women’s golf team tied for 13th at the Regional Shootout in Springfield, Mo. Freshman Katie Spangler was the lowest Bulldog finisher in a tie for 25th with a two-day total of 163.
Sept. 2, 2007 – The Truman women’s golf team opened their 2007-08 season with a fifth place finish at the Maverick Round-Up in St. James, Minn. Krystal Limsiaco shot a 168 to finish in ninth place overall.
July 9, 2007 – Julie Williams and Laura Westensee were named to the 2006-07 National Golf Coaches Association All-American Scholar team. Both were part of the Bulldogs national qualifying team this past season.
June 20, 2007 – The Truman women’s golf team has added three players to the 2007-08 roster. Jennifer Lawson, Courtney Shook and Kaytie Spangler will be members of the squad that competed in the Division II National title tournament last spring.
May 24, 2007 – Three Bulldog women student-athletes were named First Team College Division Academic all-District by ESPN the Magazine and the College Sports Information Directors of America. Senior swimmers Brittany Anderson and Lija Kaleps-Clark along with sophomore women’s golfer Julie Williams will advance to the national Academic all-American at-large ballot.
May 12, 2007 – The Truman women’s golf team’s run at the NCAA Division II championship ended on Saturday with an eighth place finish at the national tournament. Sophomore Julie Williams was the highest placing Bulldogs finishing in a tie for 29th place.
May 2, 2007 – The Truman women’s golf team is heading to the Division II National Championship tournament after winning a playoff for the final spot against Nebraska-Omaha. The Bulldogs will compete at the Stonebrook Golf Club in Pensacola, Fla. on May 9-12th.
