May 1, 2009 – Freshman Kristen Siegler and senior Dani Mayer were both named to the all-MIAA honorable mention softball team. It is the second year that Mayer has earned the all-conference honor.

April 25, 2009 – Missouri Southern rained on the senior day parade as they swept Truman softball team on Saturday 4-0 and 2-1. Five Bulldogs, Stephanie Johnson, Kali Holleran, Rebekah Shea, Lindsey Rock and Dani Mayer, were honored between games.

April 24, 2009 – The Truman softball team came up on the short end of a doubleheader sweep at the hands of the Pittsburg State Gorillas on Friday afternoon in Kirksville. The Bulldogs lost 9-1 in the first game and dropped a tough 2-1 decision in the nightcap. The team will honor its five seniors when they host Missouri Southern on Saturday at 1:00 p.m.

April 22, 2009 – The Quincy Lady Hawks edged out the Truman softball team for a doubleheader sweep on Wednesday afternoon. The Hawks won 5-3 and 1-0 over the Bulldogs. Truman has some key games coming up this weekend at home starting with Pittsburg State on Friday and senior day against Missouri Southern on Saturday.

April 19, 2009 – The Truman softball team lost a heartbreaker in the first game and then dropped a 9-1 decision to Nebraska-Omaha on Sunday afternoon in MIAA play. The Bulldogs will play Quincy University on the road Wednesday.
