Nov. 11, 2009 – Senior Swimmer Kate Aherne has been named this week’s Division II women’s swimmer of the week by Collegeswimming.com.

Nov. 7, 2009 – The Bulldog swimming teams split a dual meet with Division I Missouri State University on Saturday. The women were 69-53 winners over the Bears while the men fell 92-30.

Oct. 25, 2009 – The Truman swimming teams competed in a four-way dual meet with Ashland (Ohio), Wayne State (Mich.) and the University of Indianapolis over the weekend. The women took five of six while the men went winless.

Oct. 9, 2009 – The Bulldog swimming teams opened up their 2009-10 season on Friday night by hosting Division I, University of Iowa. The Hawkeyes won both meets 167-87 in the women’s dual and 182-76 in the men’s dual.

June 12, 2009 – Three Truman female student-athletes were named Academic All-America by ESPN the Magazine and the College Sports Information Directors of America. Junior Swimmer Kate Aherne was a first-team selection while sophomore teammate Tanya Slyvester and senior tennis player Lindsy Blair were third team picks.
