June 26, 2009 – Assistant Athletics Media Relations Director Tyler Madsen was named one of the American Volleyball Coaches Association’s regional media honorees. Madsen works with the Truman Volleyball program in publicity, in-game statistics and game management.

May 26, 2009 – Truman head volleyball coach Ben Briney has announced the hiring of Megan Wargo as the Bulldogs’ new assistant coach. Wargo spent the past four seasons as the assistant coach for both the women’s and men’s volleyball programs at Lees-McRae (N.C.) College.

May 5, 2009 – Ben Briney has been appointed the new head coach of the Truman State University volleyball team after serving as the program’s assistant since 2005. He becomes the ninth head coach in program history and replaces Jason Skoch, who worked with Briney to guide the program to a 137-22 record in four seasons.

April 22, 2009 - The Truman volleyball program has signed four additional players to join the 2009 recruiting class, assistant coach Ben Briney announced Wednesday. The group includes three outside hitters and a right-side hitter and will join five others that were signed as part of the 2009 recruiting class back in November.

March 17, 2009 – The Truman State University Athletics Department has announced that volleyball head coach Jason Skoch has resigned his position to fill the head coaching vacancy at West Texas A&M University, a Division II program located in Canyon, Texas.
